I have been a “librarian activist” for many years, even before I started working in a library. My career has always been linked to learning processes, the public use of information, the role of reading, free access to knowledge, cultural management, and the publishing world. Inside and outside of libraries, I have been involved in university and scientific development cooperation, in the "Education and Library" editorial project, in supporting teaching and research in academic settings, and in various initiatives that work towards inclusive, socially committed libraries.
Since October 2013, I read, write, programme workshops, and activate readings in the Fine Arts Library at the Complutense University in Madrid, of which I am director.
