Public project session: Interdependencies

A space for conversation, between Concomitentes, the Ámbar Association, and the local community of the Comarca do Barbanza, on the mediation process of the Interdependencies project.

A celebration, from our bodies, of the connections we are capable of forging through movement and its certainty.

In January, Concomitentes and the Ámbar Association are launching the Interdependencies project, an artistic mediation project designed to help answer this question: how can the independent community living of people with functional diversity be improved?

The day proposes an open encounter to celebrate in the common public space that we are here, that we are going through a process that is allowing us to weave interdependent relationships between us, generating new links with the territory, with the available and nearby open spaces, and with the individual and collective bodies of those of us participating in the process. A process that aims to generate lasting interdependencies between the commissioning individuals and their immediate community, opening up new ways of occupying public space.

11:30 AM Sharing the Interdependencies project with families and neighbours in the Comarca do Barbanza. Conversation between: Fran Quiroga, Director of Concomitentes, and Natalia Balseiro, mediator of Co-consignees, Manu Mimé, Ámbar's Art Director, and Milagros Rey Pérez, President of Ámbar, and Moses Calvo y Sonia Alonso As clients and users of Ámbar.

12:00 Ghastas Pista RPM. A dance marathon in collaboration with Rey DJ and driven by Caterina Varela y Félix Fernández delete RPM Collective, for the entire Barbanza neighbourhood.

2:00 PM Awards ceremony, End of the day and free vermouth.
