Natalia Balseiro

Natalia Balseiro Rodríguez (San Sadurniño, 1974) is a researcher, mediator and cultural curator. She has worked as a cultural technician in the city council of San Sadurniño (1998-2004), in the Spanish Network of Theatres (2004-2006), as Director of the Centro Coreográfico Galego (2006-2009), Director of mov-s (Espacio de pensamiento vinculado a las artes vivas iberoamericanas) in the Mercat de les Flors (2010-2015), Advisor for Participation and Democratic Innovation of the City Council of A Coruña (2015-2019) and is currently a member of ZEMOS98 where she works on projects of the Planea Art and School Network. She is a mediator of Concomitentes where she has developed the project “Terra Común” with the Community of Montes de Couso and the artist Asunción Molinos Gordo. As an independent professional she has worked as a researcher, mediator and cultural curator for different public and independent institutions such as Somos Pandereteiras, Presidency of the Government for the project Spain European Capital of Culture, Ministry of Culture, Acción Cultural Española, Universidade da Coruña, Turismo de Galicia, Deliberativa, A Casa Vella, Colectivo R.P.M., Graner Centro de Creación, Radar Cultura among others. She is a participation advisor for Oviedo's candidacy to become European Capital of Culture. She is a member of DAG (Asociación Galega de Deseñadores), Somos Pandeireteiras, Member of the Performing Arts, Music and Audiovisual Section of the Consello da Cultura Galego and a member and friend of RPM.
