Natalia Balseiro is a researcher, curator and mediator with over twenty years’ experience in the public sector and as an independent professional. She designs projects and processes that revolve around art, culture, participation, democratic innovation, mediation, and sectoral and territorial development, at the local, regional, national, and international levels.

Her work is characterized by strategic collaborative design with local communities and/or sector groups from a situated perspective, with her sights always set on future sustainability and its cross-cutting, intersectoral conceptualisation.

Her design processes strike a balance between the needs of the communities involved and the mandates of European strategic policies, an aspect that is central to her work.
