Javier Fernández

With a degree in Environmental Sciences (UAH) and a degree in Ecological Heritage Management, Javier is co-founder of Altekio, Iniciativas hacia la Sostenibilidad, a non-profit cooperative that has been promoting eco-social transformation through facilitation, consultancy and social innovation since 2008, applying the Theory of Change to design strategies that generate real impact in communities and territories. Specialist in Sustainable Development and Environmental Education and Master in Environmental Education and Complex Systems (UNED) and in Gestalt Therapy, he is an expert in Citizen Participation, Group Facilitation and Social Ecology. In addition,
is involved in several Social and Solidarity Economy networks (REAS, Coop-57, Mercado Social de Madrid) and participates in various citizens' initiatives and social movements.
