A spring walk in the surroundings of Llanos

How do you walk around a place in order to understand it? Starting from this question, the working group designed a route through and around Llanos over several sessions and invited the whole village to walk around it on 20 May.

Starting from the church square, we walk across the medieval bridge and climb the Machucón. We went around the village, visited its fountains and springs, saw the waterfall and the old hydroelectric station before returning to the starting point. There, Alfredo and Oscar had prepared a meal, which was joined by a few other villagers.

Through this short walk we understood the territory, its community and the spaces of interaction of Llanos, many of which are surrounded by water.
