María Auxiliadora Gálvez
Architect by the E.T.S.A.M. and Doctor in Architecture. She is also a landscape architect and teacher of the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education. She has been teaching at the university since 1998. In 2016 she founded the "Plataforma de Somática aplicada a la Arquitectura y el Paisaje"-PSAAP, where aspects of ecology are addressed from the experience of the body in art, and in architectural, urban and landscape design. She has been awarded prizes in national and international competitions, including prizes in the VI, VII and IX Europan. She has recently collaborated with institutions such as the Municipal Gallery in Porto, the Tanz Quartier in Vienna and the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid. His work has been published in the monograph "Excepto 21. Active Cartographies" (2008) and is the author of "Somatic Space. Cuerpos Múltiples" (2019) and "Descampados" (2022). She is a member of the research board of the "Centre for Sensory Studies" (Canada) and participates in the project "Navigating Dizziness Together".
