OYIRUM

Anti-capacity activist, body-positive/neutral and LGBT feminist who spends her time studying and social networking part-time and being a proud full time cripple, in her own words. “ableism is the oppression we suffer in this environment because we are disabled. It's not that I was unlucky to be born into this body and have difficulties accessing education, decent healthcare, jobs... It wasn't bad luck, it's not: ‘oh poor you, you don't have the abilities to get to that point’. It's that society was ordered so that the normative people could get in and the rest of us were left out”.
