Poetics of the banquet

The project Metabolic connections. Climate and community agriculture combines participatory art, mediation and eco-social awareness to raise awareness of the role of the food sovereignty in the restoration of the Valencian territory after the 2024 DANA, with a special emphasis on the ecosystem of l'Horta. 

The day 5 February 2026 we will meet at Al Paladar to explore, together with the poet and poetess Maria Sanchez (@mmercromina), writing as a practice of care and living presence in the territory. We will ask ourselves: How do we nourish ourselves, what are the relationships that sustain us, what territories, food, memories and knowledge do we want to pass on to future generations? We will then read the author's poetic compositions in the La Rossa bookshop.

19.00 h. Poetry recital at La Rossa bookshop, Benimaclet, Valencia [LOCATION]

Free activity with prior registration. Includes an agro-ecological meal - Menjador ambulant de l'Horta.
