The Catalan project ‘Mes clar que l'aigua’ has been selected at Micelio <35, la V Convocatoria de Arte Participativo lanzada por Concomitentes

We have already selected a project for Mycelium <35!

The Catalan project Clearer than water has been selected in the Mycelium <35 - V Call for Participative Art,launched by Concomitentes in July. 

The Sapeira neighbourhood association and the Usnea RP collective, together with the mediator Ana Pardo López, are promoting a project that explores new forms of community water governance in a Pyrenean environment affected by climate change and depopulation. The initiative seeks to activate shared vegetable gardens, test collective water management agreements and open up spaces for participation to imagine sustainable futures. By conceiving water as a common good, the project proposes a living model of resilience and collective care in the face of the environmental and social challenges of the territory. 

According to the ruling of the selection committee, which unanimously selected the project, the proposal was chosen on the basis of its conceptual soundness, its coherence with the principles of Concomitentes and the clarity of its methodological approach, both in its way of conceiving artistic mediation and in its link with a structured and active community and a group of patrons that was perceived as strong and stable. It has also been valued for its adjustment to the call for proposals, integrating in a balanced way the artistic dimension, the community work and the reflection on a common good: water.
