We have an appointment! The next Sunday, 27 February at 1pm, we will present our book Mutations in Public Space at ArtsLibris, within ARCO Madrid, the seventh edition of a space for reflection that seeks dialogue around the place of publications in artistic production. The space for the presentation will be the Speakers’ Corner, which will be added to the programme of the galleries participating in ARCO.

The presentation will be attended by Sören Meschede, mediator and member of Concomitentes, co-author and co-editor of the work, and Amparo Lasén, one of the authors of the text together with Jara Rocha. What is the weather like?, which explores how public policies of quarantine and confinement have affected personal temporal perceptions and the emotional climates that accompany them.

Our book, Mutations in public space, which came out last July, is a bid to think together about what the pandemic revealed to us. We have done this in collaboration with Bartlebooth, a publishing and research platform that examines contemporary spatial practice.

Other contributors include Eneas Bernal, Haizea Barcenilla, Amador Fernández-Savater, Marcos García, María Shéhérazade Guidici, Alexander Koch, Anastassia Makridou Bretonneau, Mary Mattingly, Jara Rocha, Hito Steyerl, Lindsey Stonebridge and José María Torres Nadal, with Sören Meschede and Fran Quiroga as co-editors.
