The book ‘Dancing Diversity’, which we launched together with the publishing house Bartlebooth, is now available in bookshops throughout Spain and will be presented in Madrid on next Friday, 31 May at 17.00hrs, at the bookshop ‘Ateneo La Maliciosa’, by the hand of Veronica Valentini and the Argentinian artist Osias Yanov.

The publication is a living testimony of the experience and the road travelled together with the Diversorium, an artistic-participative project, - guided by the mediator-curator Veronica Valentini, together with Antonio Centeno y Maria Oliver, of the Barcelona Independent Living Office (OVI)-which seeks to create a festive space in which people with and without functional diversity can live, enjoy and dance together, breaking down barriers with respect to functional diversity.

Edited by Veronica Valentini, the book features texts by Antonio Centeno, Osías Yanov, the artist in charge of the artistic direction of the Diversorium that opened the BAM Festival at Barcelona's Mercè festivities in 2022; who is joined by Marie Bardet, Bob Pop, Rachele Borghi, Brigitte Vasallo y Aïda Camprubí Hinojosa

In addition, the book is also accompanied by photographic documentation of the project. Eva Carasol; the sketches of Osias Yanov; the drawings of Tobias Dirty; and some parts of the fanzine made by Marta de la Gente y Santiago Villanueva in dialogue with the Argentinean artist.
