The online workshop: “A participatory impulse? How to archive relationships”.”, –taught by Mick Wilson, Director of Doctoral Studies and Professor of Art at HDK-Valand at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), took place on Wednesday, 11 September, with the aim and challenge of exploring the reasons for the ascendancy of the archive, the different ways in which it has been experimentally reconstructed and the broader contexts of current archival impulses in contemporary art.

With a participation of more than 20 people online, it was taught in English and deepened the knowledge of other forms of cultural and artistic creation and production, while exploring how art can contribute to social transformation and the relationship with the environment.

This activity is part of the European project ‘Art Living Lab for Sustainability’The aim of the project is to respond to three open participation processes in Spain, France and Belgium through an artistic solution committed to the surroundings, nature and the environment.
