Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030 highlights Concomitentes as an inspiring case study

The publication 'La cultura en las iniciativas de desarrollo sostenible: Casos inspiradores de trabajo en ODS en territorios rurales y urbanos', accredits as an inspiring case the project 'Narrativas Solares', which seeks a form of just ecological transition with the territory of the Leonese region of La Sobarriba.
The General Directorate of Agenda 2030 of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030, together with the ‘Spanish Network for Sustainable Development’ (REDS-SDSN Spain), has highlighted in the new publication ‘Culture in sustainable development initiatives: Inspirational cases of SDG work in rural and urban territories’, the project by ‘Solar Narratives, which, together with the mediator Alfredo Escapa, seeks a form of sustainable and fair ecological transition with the territory of the Leonese region of La Sobarriba.
The document, which highlights ten experiences of work in sustainable development, seeks to highlight the valuable work being done by actors in the territory to achieve desired transitions; to motivate and infect new actors to encourage and be part of this dynamic of collaborative work with the cultural sector; to facilitate contact with these motivated actors; and to raise awareness and sensitivity to the presence and opportunities for impact that culture offers in our actions.
This kind of recognition is an impulse to continue working and to underline the transformative character of culture and art in our society.
