The mediator, Alfredo Escapa, and the members of the La Sobarriba Platform of the concomitance ‘Solar Narratives’ will hold a public presentation of the project next Friday, January 27th, at 11am at the headquarters of the Leonese Institute of Culture in León.
The concomitance, which was the winning proposal in the Art for Sustainability Call for Proposals which we launched in April 2022, is located in the region of La Sobarriba, a few kilometres away from the city of León, and The project combines the desire of the local residents to make visible the problems of the ecological transition and the contradictions, The project is a project for the installation of a macro-solar plant in their territory.
Thus, the project explores the best way to carry out a just, sustainable and territorially committed ecological transition, through a mediation process. that can show alternatives and other models using the tools provided by art and culture.
