Young people from the diffuse urbanities of southern Badajoz

We are a group of six people, between 26 and 33 years old, with experience of having lived in other places before returning or migrating to the south of Badajoz. We are united by an unstable relationship with the territory we inhabit, an insecurity of presence threatened by the shadow of depopulation, desertification and extractivism. With very different experiences of what it means to live in “the rural”, we are not united by a common identity, but by a shared anti-patriarchal and anti-colonial concern and a desire to reverse the violence that has marked the places we inhabit.
