The Hematocritic

The Hematocrítico is Miguel López (A Coruña, 1976), author of projects guided by humour and who, according to some spaces, “at some point in the 21st century acquired the power of multiplicity”, with which he has managed to combine his career in children's literature and that of a teacher. His collections include ‘Leyendas del recreo’ with Albert Monteys and ‘Feliz Feroz’, ‘Agente Ricitos’ and ‘El lobo con botas’, together with the illustrator Alberto Vázquez. As a creator of activities, his list of works includes ‘Los cuadernitos de escritura divertida’ and ‘Tu diario de verano’. His most popular humour projects on the Internet are ‘El Hematocrítico de arte’ and ‘Drama en el portal’. His work is completed by his column on parenting in GQ Magazine, his humour blog in Liopardo or ‘Los Hermanos Podcast’, together with Noel Ceballos. He also collaborates with Cuore Magazine, Atresmedia and Tedx. In his list of latest projects, he has just launched the collection ‘Max Burbuja’ in Penguin Random House.
