Mutaciones en el Espacio Público, among the books selected for the XII Ibero-American Biennial

Our book came out a year ago as a commitment from Concomitentes to think together about what the pandemic revealed to us about public space.

Our publication ‘Mutations in public space’ has been selected by the XII Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism, In this call for proposals, in which 22 countries participated, 180 projects and publications were selected, and 84 finalists were shortlisted. This initiative recognises new strategies of conciliation between habitats and those who inhabit them, highlighting projects that work on the margins and imagine alternative spaces for a more optimistic, healthy and just urban future.

Our book came out a year ago as a commitment from Concomitentes to think together about what the pandemic revealed to us about public space. The publication, which we have produced in collaboration with the publishing company Bartlebooth, The other authors include Eneas Bernal, Haizea Barcenilla, Amador Fernández-Savater, Marcos García, María Shéhérazade Guidici, Alexander Koch, Anastassia Makridou Bretonneau, Mary Mattingly, Jara Rocha, Hito Steyerl, Lindsey Stonebridge and José María Torres Nadal, with Sören Meschede and Fran Quiroga as co-editors.
