In Between' is more than an event, it is a space for the exchange of knowledge on mediation.

To complete the 'In Between' event, the website https://mediationinbetween.net/, a space conceived to position artistic mediation as a cultural practice of reference in Europe, is launched.

On 4 November, the mediator, Alfredo Escapa, together with the commissioners and the artist, Auxi Gálvez, carried out a collective activity to start building the sebes that will form the heart of the art piece that will be installed in La Sobarriba.

The space for meeting and reflection on participatory processes and cultural mediation in Europe is promoted by Concomitentes and ZEMOS98.

Five cultural mediation projects from all over Spain will participate in the 'In Between' conference on 30 November in Seville.

A Casa Vella, Conciencia-Afro, Banco de Proyectos Colaborativos (BdPC) / Tekeando, Cancha Libre / sala Rekalde and Plataforma Bajo Teja are the proposals selected from a total of 34 received.

The two days, which will take place on 3 and 4 November, will be used for the public presentation of the architect, María Auxiliadora Gálvez, who is in charge of the production of the project's work.

The first meetings with clients are already underway and the inauguration is scheduled for the spring of next year.

El proyecto extremeño ‘Non Plus Ultra’, ganador de la Convocatoria Arte Juventud por la Sostenibilidad

El proyecto abordará la problemática de la crisis ecológica desde la mirada imperial y colonial que naturaliza la destrucción de ecosistemas, de la mano del mediador José Iglesias García-Arenal y un grupo de seis jóvenes del sur de la provincia de Badajoz.

The project 'Solar Narratives' will participate in the activity 'Franco's colonisation and capitalist emptying'.

The programme is organised by the Complutense University of Madrid and Carleton University, and consists of activities in Valladolid today and tomorrow, and León during the weekend.

La convocatoria busca iniciar un nuevo proceso artístico participativo que atienda a un reto ambiental.
