Concomitentes wins second place in the Exemplary Projects of the Observatory of Culture 2024

In this edition, the organisation shares position with the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, achieving a slight improvement over the previous year.

The Observatorio de la Cultura, produced annually by Fundación Contemporánea, gathers the assessments of more than a thousand professionals from the cultural sector in Spain. This recognition places Concomitentes, for yet another year, among the initiatives with the greatest social impact in the cultural sphere, highlighting its efforts to promote citizen participation in artistic creation and its commitment to sustainable and inclusive models.

A recognition of the social impact of culture

The leading position in this category is held by the la Caixa“ Foundation”, followed by Concomitentes and the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation. In the following positions are the Cerezales Antonino and Cinia Foundation, La Casa Encendida and the Spanish Network for Sustainable Development (REDS). This classification reinforces the growing importance of culture as a driver of social transformation. For Concomitentes, this recognition is a boost to its work of cultural mediation, fostering collaboration between artists, communities and professionals from different disciplines.

The organisation reaffirms its commitment to continue working on projects that integrate citizen participation and sustainability as fundamental axes for contemporary creation. Throughout this year, Concomitentes will continue to support initiatives that generate a positive impact on society, consolidating its position as a benchmark in the intersection between art, citizen participation and sustainability.
