Next Thursday, <u>27 January at 20hrs<\/u>, we will present our book <strong><em>Mutations in Public Space<\/em><\/strong> at <u><a href=\"https:\/\/numax.org\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">NUMAX<\/a><\/u>, a film and bookshop cooperative, located in Santiago de Compostela. The event will be led by the artist and architect, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jacobo_bugarin\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Jacobo Bugar\u00edn<\/a>, y <u><a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/protagonists\/fran-quiroga\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Fran Quiroga<\/a><\/u>, coordinator of Concomitentes, and co-author and co-editor of the book.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our book, which came out last July, is a bid to think together about what the pandemic revealed to us.<\/strong>. A process that has obligatorily constrained us from public space and that has brought to light political processes that have affected the growing normativisation of space, social inequality, distrust of the other, the dismantling of public or community initiatives or the desire for immediacy.<\/p>\n<p>Among the contributions included in the book are those of Eneas Bernal, Haizea Barcenilla, Amador Fern\u00e1ndez-Savater, Marcos Garc\u00eda, Mar\u00eda Sh\u00e9h\u00e9razade Guidici, Alexander Koch, Amparo Lasen, Anastassia Makridou Bretonneau, Mary Mattingly, Jara Rocha, Hito Steyerl, Lindsey Stonebridge and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Torres Nadal; together with S\u00f6ren Meschede and Fran Quiroga, as co-editors of the work.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Mutations in Public Space<\/em><\/strong> is a book made in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/bartlebooth.org\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Bartlebooth<\/a>, a publishing and research platform that examines contemporary spatial practice.<\/p>\n<p>To attend the event it is necessary to book a place at <u><a href=\"mailto:comunicacion@numax.org\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">comunicacion@numax.org<\/a><\/u>, The presentation will be streamed on NUMAX's social media channels on Facebook and Instagram Live (@numaxcoop).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u><a href=\"https:\/\/numax.org\/novas\/detalle\/mutaciones-en-el-espacio-publico-fran-quiroga-bartlebooth\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Here<\/a><\/u> the details of the presentation on the NUMAX website.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a1Tenemos una cita!
