These are some of the questions with which it is born in 2018. <strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/concomitances\/diversorium\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Diversorium<\/a><\/u><\/strong>, a participatory art project by Concomitentes guided by the mediator-curator Veronica Valentini; together with Antonio Centeno and Mar\u00eda Oliver, from the Oficina de Vida Independiente (OVI) in Barcelona. This project sought to generate<strong> a festive space where people with and without functional diversity could coexist, enjoy, dance together, breaking down barriers with respect to functional diversity.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure data-ratio=\"auto\">\n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/49500840238_960a372967_b.jpg\" alt=\"Vero Valentini in the centre, together with Diversorium&#039;s clients, Mar\u00eda Oliver and Antonio Centeno. \"><figcaption>\n    Vero Valentini in the centre, together with Diversorium's clients, Mar\u00eda Oliver and Antonio Centeno. \u00a9 Guillermo Gumiel  <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After <u><a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/diary\/the-diversorium-closes-and-opens-a-new-stage-dancing\/?proyecto=diversorium\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">four years on the road<\/a><\/u>, The project, along with several Diversoriums held in Barcelona, a presentation at the MDT-Modern Dance Theatre in Stockholm, an invitation to the art centre \u2018La ferme de Buissons\u2019 in Paris and to be a participating project in the European biennial Manifesta 15, the project launches, together with the <strong>Bartlebooth publishers<\/strong>, the publication <strong>\u2018Dancing Diversity\u2019<\/strong>, in which several authors and members of the project give voice not only to their journey, but also to how to find in the coexistence of bodies another way of relating to each other and creating society. Thus, the writer, <strong>Brigitte Vasallo<\/strong>, The pregonera of the Diversorium festival in the Rambla del Raval and of the publication, makes an ode to this place and its \u201cstrange\u201d people, invoking a festival in which one can stop being a body and become flesh.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For its part, <strong>Rachele Borghi<\/strong>, <em>queer geographer<\/em>, The third chapter of the book analyses the norms dictated by public space, a space that is neither neutral nor universal, and whose relationship of oppression can only be transformed by using the body as a tool of resistance.
