The objective is, after an intense selection process, to see what could be the citizen's contribution to the care of such an important legacy as the Parque do Pasatempo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The artist who will develop the commission will be <strong>Carme Nogueira<\/strong>, The project will emulate through recycled cement pieces an old canle of the Park, these pieces will also serve as a new meeting place for the locals and the intervention is expected to be developed next to the Irm\u00e1ns Garc\u00eda Naveira football pitch.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the artist from Vigo, there are also<strong> I\u00f1igo Segurola<\/strong>, He is a renowned landscape gardener and gardener who has created the incredible Lu Garden in Euskadi, and is also a public figure for having been the gardener of the programme Bricoman\u00eda on 2, in which a whole generation learned to make gardens with him.<\/p>\n<p>With this public meeting we seek to get together with the two artists to think together about what an intervention in the garden could be like that would dialogue with Carme Nogueira's own pieces, with the park itself and with the uses that the public makes of the place. The session will take place on <strong>Saturday 25 \u00e1s 12h diante da Estatua da Caridade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This artistic project is part of Concomitentes, an art production company that develops artistic projects based on the demands of the community and has the support of the <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Amigas del Parque del Pasatiempo (Friends of the Pasatiempo Park Association)<\/strong>, <strong>ACLP Rox\u00edn Roxal<\/strong> e a <strong>Association of Friends of the Historical Centre of Betanzos<\/strong>, in addition to the collaboration of the <strong>Council of Betanzos<\/strong> e o apoio da <strong>Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation<\/strong> e a <strong>Spanish Presidency of the EU Council<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"Castellano\" id=\"Castellano\" class=\"anchor\" ><br \/>\n  <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>On 25 November we met to think about the landscape intervention in Parque do Pasatempo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the last five years, a participative artistic project has been developed in the Parque do Pasatempo in Betanzos.
