Living arts and a space for coexistence\u2019.\u2019<\/a>, our concomitance in Barcelona, will kick off the festival. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcelona.cat\/bam\/es\/noticia\/este-2022-vuelve-el-bam-de-siempre\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Barcelona Acci\u00f3 Musical (BAM)<\/a><\/strong>, The most alternative branch of the city's main festival. This festival will be designed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/diary\/with-this-project-we-seek-to-exacerbate-common-fantasies-outside-of-the-imposed-ones\/?proyecto=diversorium\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Argentine visual artist, <\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/diary\/with-this-project-we-seek-to-exacerbate-common-fantasies-outside-of-the-imposed-ones\/?proyecto=diversorium\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Osias Yanov<\/a>,<\/strong> which will propose a multidisciplinary work that will combine celebration, installation, sculpture and video, intersecting theory and art. <em>queer<\/em>, night party and community work.<\/p>\n<p>The Diversorium is a festival, open to everyone, which claims diversity in all its dimensions, and is a project resulting from the joint exchange developed over four years between the activists <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/diary\/interview-with-diversoriums-clients\/?proyecto=diversorium\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Maria Oliver<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/diary\/interview-with-diversoriums-clients\/?proyecto=diversorium\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> y <\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/diary\/interview-with-diversoriums-clients\/?proyecto=diversorium\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Antonio Centeno<\/a><\/strong>, members of the Office for Independent Living (OVI) - an empowerment and support organisation for people with functional diversity - and the project mediator, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/concomitentes.org\/en\/diary\/interview-veronica-valentini\/?proyecto=diversorium\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Veronica Valentini<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opening of BAM: Alternative proposal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The proposal that we will be able to see on the stage located on Barcelona's Rambla del Raval, is part of the <em>kermesse<\/em>, The festival, an ancient popular festival that commemorated the founding of a church, gradually moved to the neighbourhoods to become a gathering to celebrate and share in which fair, music, dance, assembly, spectacle and food coexist. This simultaneity of artistic genres promotes contact between bodies, creating a sense of community and signifying enjoyment and festivity as political events.<\/p>\n<p>It will seek to create a space of intersectional celebration for all bodies, celebrating diversities and differences in order to jointly break down the discriminations that segment and separate. Among the guests on stage will be writer and activist <strong>Brigitte Vasallo<\/strong> as a town crier; feminist activist and anti-disability activist <strong>OYIRUM<\/strong> as master of ceremonies; the dance-theatre duo <strong>Jaume Girbau and Carla Car\u00edssima<\/strong>; y <strong>Vaginoplasty<\/strong> y <strong>Mariokissme<\/strong> making music.<\/p>\n<p>The conceptual axes of this year's BAM are six: dissidence, revisiting roots, club and urban music and collectivity, self-management, extreme music and emergence. Of the thirty or so artists invited, we will be able to see such diverse proposals as <strong>Frantic Amber<\/strong>,<strong> Moon Ki<\/strong>, <strong>Asma Hamzaoui<\/strong>, <strong>Madras Poster<\/strong> o <strong>Anika 9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Intensive workshop at MACBA: \u2018Fiesta as communal land\u2019.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before the BAM in the framework of La Merc\u00e8, <strong>Osias Yanov<\/strong> will offer during the 1st, 8th and 15th of September from 16.00 to 19.00hrs at the MACBA, the workshop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macba.cat\/ca\/exposicions-activitats\/activitats\/festa-com-terra-comunal\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">\u2018Fiesta as communal land\u2019<\/a>, This is an open and free space where participants will be offered movement practices that will introduce them to the sensibility of the festive and sensual from a sensual perspective. <em>queer-crip<\/em>. The call for applications is open until 26 August.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>The workshop approaches will focus on:<\/p>\n<p>- How to get to a party<\/p>\n<p>- Independent living with others<\/p>\n<p>- Dancing with your face<\/p>\n<p>- Mixes between rehearsal and teaching<\/p>\n<p>- Dance equipment<\/p>\n<p>- Exaggerating everything<\/p>\n<p>- Enjoyment and pleasure as a premise<\/p>\n<p>- Forms of disobedience<\/p>\n<p>- Architectural orthopaedics<\/p>\n<p>Some of the issues to be addressed at this meeting will seek to answer questions such as: <strong>Who are the parties for? Who organises them?
